The City Council will deliver around 70.000 vouchers in different means of transport and mobility to those customers that have bought goods in the shops of the city to encourage the access and use to sustainable mobility and reactivate sales.
In the campaign Support your local business, support Granada, there have been delivered 11.000 1 vouchers for ORA zone; 7.865 2 discount vouchers to be used in 17 parkings; also 7.000 2 trip bus passes in rechargeable cards, among other measures.
The City Council boost this new campaign to help local business, hotels and toursim to ease and prevent the impact of crisis and reactivate sales; an initiative that, under the slogan Support your local business, support Granada, will deliver around 70.000 vouchers to encourage the use of public transport, parkings, ORA zone and taxis to those customers that have bought goods in the shops of the city or consume in stablishments of the city.
Trade Councellor, Manuel Olivares, has reminded that the initiative arises in cooperation and shared work of Hotel trade, Trade and responsibles of public transport in the city to boost measures to offer support to business sector, easing sustainable and economy displacements and helping business to paliate, counter and prevent the impact of crisis.
Olivares has thanked the technical effort of entities implied to develop this idea and contract specifications and collective agreements to make it possible and has assured that with this initiative we give response to a historical demand of this sector that might benefit from it both associated stablishments and those who are not attached to these federations.
Mobility Councellor, César Díaz, has pointed out that this atypical year like this is requires atypical measures; so this incentive plan without precedent in the ciyt bonuses all mobility system with almost 70.000 vouchers to boost sustainable mobility in the capital and activate business.
In figures, there have been delivered 11.000 1 vouchers for ORA zone; 7.865 2 discount vouchers to be used in 17 parkings; also 7.000 2 trip bus passes in rechargeable cards.
Above all this, thanks to an agreement with app Imbric, the City Council has funded with 4.950 euros this application, a sum that is complemented with another 4 euros for each euro given by local administration, that Imbric gives to this project. So, business will have a QR code so customers that purchase goods in these shops can benefit of these discounts in taxis, bus and the rest of means of mobility already mentioned.
To explain the system in case of app Imbric, the councellor of Mobility has reminded that it is the first payment application to gather all mobility systems, an app that, in two months since its launching in Granada has registered 6.000 downloads and now addes to this incentive program to mobility to support shopping in the city.
For their part, referring to means of transport available for this campaign, César Díaz has assured that are made available 80% parking places in the city, which means 7.000 parking places, and also 28 bus lanes and 400 taxis.
In economical terms, this campaign involves to the City Council a cost of 66.145 euros.
In respect of logistics, Federación de Comercio, located in Maestro Montero 23, will be the one to deliver starting tomorrow from 9 to 14 hs mentioned voucherse between stablishments that have applied for it.
And afterwards, will be stablishments that, once customers purchase or consume in it, offer them these vouchers.
For the citizen, these vouchers will have a validity of one year from it adquisition in the begining of the campaign.
