Project STARS: Walking bus of school Arrayanes
Public school Arrayanes, in North District of the city of Granada, joins the active displacements on foot to school, framed in european project STARS.
Technicians of the Educational Center in Road Safety accompany fathers, mothers, relatives, neighbours, and kids themselves on a journey to school where children are teached to make it in a safe way sharing that moments with friends and school mates.
This is a very possitive and enjoyable experience for them because the enjoy walking togheter talking, being autonomous... And seeing how mothers and fathers and the neighbourhood sympathizes with students.
GRANADA: A city to Live Togheter, Substainable and Safe for kids
There are two different itineraries:
- Route 1: Meeting point at Joaquina Eguaras Street (in front of the churrería) at 8:45, walking through Casería de Aguirre, Modesto Cendoya, Andújar and José Contreras.
- Route 2: Meeting point at Modesto Cendoya (in front of the square) at 8:45, walking through Casería de Aguirre, Joaquina Eguaras.
