Maximum speed in motorway reduces to 90km/h

Motorway granada reduces speed

From 19 January 2020 modifies maximum speed limit in the motorway of Granada.

This decision of the Ministry of Public Works has been consensuated with the City Council of Granada to improve road safety, substainability of this peri-urban road and reduce acoustic and air pollution.

On the night of 19 January it is due to begin replacement works of traffic signals in the motorway of Granada reducing maximum limit from 100 km/h to 90 km/h.

This modification will be made in the Motorway Sierra Nevada-Costa Tropical, A-44, between exit 123 (Maracena exit) and 132 (Ronda Sur exit) and will be developed throughout the week.

Zones that at present have a speed limitation under 90 km/h will keep their current limitation.
