The City Council offers free parking at the cemetery and more frequency on buses going to cemetery.

 

Granada recover the performance of Don Juan Tenorio in the concert Música para el recuerdo with the participation of Joven Orquesta Sinfónica de Granada and Remiendo Company.

The City Council of Granada offers, after the agreement made for second consecutive year with Patronato de la Alhambra and Generalife, free parking on All Saint´s Day on the parking 5 of the nasrid monument, the one closer to grenadian graveyard. Specifically, will be free on 27 and 28 October and 1 November.

This is one of measures of the City Council in the special service, that begins today and launched by the government team due to the celebration next 1 of the festivity All Saint´s Day to ease all people that want to pay tribute to the memory their relatives the access to grenadian graveyard.

This is how the councellor of Mobility and Citizen´s Protection has said this morning, Raquel Ruz, that, beside the councellor of Housing and Environment and vice-president of Emucesa, Miguel Ángel Fernandez Madrid, has presented measures taken by the government team, including , also, the increasement of frequency of public transport arriving at San Jose´s Cemetery.

One more year, service frequency will be increased on bus line 13 that, some days, on 1st November, will be 8 minutes, while this weekend will be 11 minutes, and schedule will be extended from 8:15 to 20:45 hours.

Ruz Peis has considered, in reference to the agreement made with Patronato de la Alhambra, of excellent results that the city of Granada and its citizenship have with the bet of this government team to maintain a permanent dialogue with the rest of institutions and bodies of the city..

The councellor has encouraged citizens to use public transport and scheduel their visit to the cemetery, and has also recommended, to avoid peak days and hours, and has said that there will be Local Police officers to regulate the access to the area. Also, accesses have been improved repairing traffic signs both horizontal and vertical.

simultaneously, graveyard will be open continous from 8 to 20 hours until tomorrow 27, while from 20 November, due to time change, will be from 9 to 18:30 hours.
