Toma de Granada´s Day

On 2 January 2018 celebrates the commemoration of the reconquest of the city of Granada. From 10:30 to 13:50 aprox. the center area of the city will be closed to traffic.

From 10:30 hours of 2 January, will be closed to traffic the center area of the city, specially: Puerta Real de España, Ángel Ganivet, Reyes Católicos and Gran Vía de Colón.

Public transport must change their itineraries. Lines LAC, SN1 and SN4:

  • North-South route: Constitución - Severo Ochoa - Albert Einstein - Martínez de la Rosa - Camino de Ronda - Rotonda Aviación. If number of visitors allow it, Recogidas - Puerta Real - Acera del Darro - Puente Blanco.
  • South-North route: Poeta Manuel de Góngora - Paseo del Violón - Camino de Ronda - Severo Ochoa - Constitución. If number of visitors allow it, Puente Blanco - Acera del Darro - Puerta Real - Recogidas - Camino de Ronda.

Line SN3, if Puerta Real is closed to traffic, will not get through Recogidas and will go through Camino de Ronda to Palacio de Congresos.

Lines C1 and C2, when Gran Vía is closed to traffic, make their itinerary through Elvira street.
