Center for the Complete Management of Mobility in the City of Granada in English
24th Night Race
On 18 december 2015 will take part the 24th Night Race. The beginning of long distance race will be at 21:00 hours aproximately through the historical city center of Granada.
The Sports Council of its Excellency City Council of Granada organises the 2015 Night Race, which anyone can join, providing that the requirements demanded are fulfilled the day of the race. The minimum age to join this race is 4 years. You can check all details at Granada.org.
Night Race will take part on friday 18 December and will have five routes:
- Short distance Route, for children and young people, born between 2001 and 2011, whose start will be gradual due to categories starting from the youngest ones at 18:30 h. They will follow from 200 m. distance to a mile(1609 m.), in the pedestrian area of Paseo del Salón.
- Long distance Route, for those born in 2000 and earlier, whose start will be at 21:00 h. aprox. after the ending of short distance routes. They will follow a 4.5 km route, through the historical center of Granada.
SHORT DISTANCE ROUTES
- 200 m. itinerary Young Promises (born in 2011) and Prebenjamin (born in 2009 and 2010):
START: Paseo del Salón (Titas Roundabout).
FINISH: Paseo del Salón (Fuente de las Granadas). Distance of route: 200 m aprox. - 600 m. itinerary route Benjamín (born between 2007 and 2008):
START: Paseo del Salón (Sand area between bandstand and fuente de las Titas).
FINISH: Paseo del Salón (Fuente de las Granadas). Distance of route: 600 m aprox. - Recorrido 900 m. route Alevín (born between 2005 and 2006):
START: (Sand area between bandstand and fuente de las Titas).
FINISH: Paseo del Salón (Fuente de las Granadas). Distancie of route: 900 m aprox. - 1.600 m. route Childrens (born between 2003 and 2004) and Junior (born between 2001 and 2002):
START: (Sand area between bandstand and fuente de las Titas).
FINISH: Paseo del Salón (Fuente de las Granadas). Distancie of route: 1609 m aprox.
LONG DISTANCE ROUTE
4750 m. route (born from 1999):
START: Paseo del Salón (Fuente de las Granadas) - Humilladero Square - Acera del Darro - Puerta Real de España - Recogidas - Puentezuelas - Tablas - Carril del Picón - Gran Capitán - San Juan de Dios - Triunfo - Gran Vía de Colón - Reyes Católicos - Puerta Real de España - Ángel Ganivet Street - Mariana Pineda Square - Plaza del Campillo - Bibataubín Square - Carrera de la Virgen - Fuente de las Granadas - Paseo del Salón (Fuente de las Granadas).
FINISH: Fuente de las Granadas. Circuit lenght: 4.500 m aprox.
