On Saturday September 21, due to the celebration of the European Mobility Week 2024, from 10:00 to 12:30 hours takes place the Mathematical tour in Granada in cooperation with D. Álvaro Martínez Sevilla.

Itinerary: Statue El Instante Preciso (Granada City Council) Casa de los Tiros Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo.
Key features:
We will walk around specific places in the city and will comment some relevant points in the tour. This tour will be audioguided by headphones and we will have wealth graphic on tablets and 3D printer pieces of architectural objets, for easy handling.
Description:
Vist begins at the statue El instante Preciso, created by Guillermo Pérez Villalta and settled on the cornice of the City Counci, an exceptional testimony of physical-mathematical balance and artistic mannerism.
We will also visit two jewels of grenadine architectural heritage, Cuarto Real and Casa de los Tiros. The Cuarto Real is the seed of the Alhambra, a pre - nazari qubba very well preserved, that advance some constructive, decorative and simbolic guidelines that will be materialized in the Alhambra. At Casa de los Tiros we could find an exceptional Renaissance House - Palace, with some of main characteristics of a new order: clasicism, modulation, heroism and impenetrability.
In this tour we will unravel mathematics in them, common to their artistic styles, and uniques due to its function or intention or function. We will talk about archs, mosaics, curves, balance, proportions or modulation patterns on facades and theis simbolic interpretation, how to transfer an aesthetic culture on architectural elements.
