As a measure to encourage sustainable mobility and bussiness activitiy and also to improve quality of environment, it will be implemented pedestrianization until end of year on a pilot basis.
According to measures boosted by Local Authorities to ease pedestrian mobility in the city center on weekends, reducing pollution, encouraging citizen relationships and bussiness activity, raises restrictions to traffic of vehicles in Reyes Católicos St (between Puerta Real and Pza. Isabel la Católica) and Gran Vía de Colón (between Pza. Isabel la Católica y C/Cárcel Baja) on Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00 hours.
First: RESTRICT traffic of vehicles in Reyes Católicos St between Puerta Real and Plaza Isabel la Católica and in section of Gran Vía de Colón from Cárcel Baja to Plaza Isabel la Católica on weekends, on Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00 hours, conditioned on these requirements:
1º Restrictions to traffic of vehicles in Reyes Católicos St between Puerta Real and Plaza Isabel la Católica and in Gran Vía de Colón between Calle Cárcel Baja and Plaza Isabel la Católica will be on weekends, Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00 hours.
2º Due date of this pilot basis will be on weekends until end of current year.
3º To ease mobility of residents, hotel guests and public transport vehicles giving service in these areas will be stablished the following itineraries (marked on attached map as APPENDIX 1):
- In Placeta de Tovar area (garage 22 vehicles), Plaza Gamboa (Hotel Hesperia 167 vehicles), Calle Mariana Pineda, Calle Lepanto, entrance and exit of vehicles should be in double sense of circulation through C/ Escudo del Carmen from or until San Matías St, giving way to vehicles that leave the area before those who want to get in.
- Between streets Cárcel Baja, Elvira, Reyes Católicos and Gran Vía, entrance of residents and exit of vehicles of residents of Albayzin to Gran Vía will be through C/ Joaquín Costa and exit trhough Calle Cetti Meriem to Calle Gran Vía de Colón to Avda. Constitución, giving priority to pedestrian in those streets.
- Garage in Calle Salamanca (24 vehicles), entrance and exit wil be through Calle Reyes Católicos from or to Puerta Real, giving priority to pedestrians in the street.

Outbound way(towards CENTER). All lines from Avenida de la Constitución are diverted through Severo Ochoa, Camino de Ronda, Recogidas to Puerta Real and back to original itinerary.
Return way (towards CHANA/NORTE). All bus lines from Puerta Real will be diverted through Recogidas, Camino de Ronda, Severo Ochoa to Avda. de la Constitución, and back to original itinerary.
LINE 11
Outbound way (axis Camino de Ronda). It keeps usual itinerary.
Return way(axis Avda Constitución): From Puerta Real will be diverted through Recogidas, Camino de Ronda, Severo Ochoa to Avda. de la Constitución, and back to usual itinerary.
LINE C5
Trips are supressed on Saturday from 12:00h to 22:00h.
LINES C31, C32 and C34
Section Gran Vía de Colón. All bus lines from Triunfo will be diverted through c/ Elvira to c/ Reyes Católicos and back to original itinerary.
