Toma de la Ciudad de Granada Day
On Monday January 2, 2017 the commemoration of the Toma de la ciudad de Granada is celebrated, closing to traffic center area from 10:30 to 13:50 hours.
From 10:30 until 13:50, the downtown area of the city will be closed to traffic with special emphasis on the streets: Puerta Real de España, Angel Ganivet, Reyes Católicos and Gran Via de Colon.
Public transport should modify their routes. If the number of visitors permits, will continue circulating Acera del Darro - Recogidas street towards Camino de Ronda, otherwise use Camino de Ronda from the roundabout of Aviation.
Special traffic affections:
- Reyes Católicos street, in both ways, from Puerta Real to Isabel la Católica square
- Ángel Ganivet street, from Puerta Real to Mariana Pineda square
The route of the procession will be from Plaza del Carmen to the Royal Chapel, by Reyes Catolicos street and Gran Vía.
