On Thursday 5 January 2017, from 17:30 hours, takes place the Wise Men´s Parade following the traditional itinerary, starting at Gran Capitán arriving to Plaza del Carmen.
The entourage will be made up of 22 carriages, and this year has a new carriage of the Municipal Music Band celebrating its one hundred anniversary.
Wise Men´s Parade takes place on 5th January through the following itinerary:
Gran Capitán; San Juan de Dios; Gran Vía de Colón; Reyes Católicos; Puerta Real; Acera del Darro (left side, next to Acera del Casino); Plaza Humilladero; Carrera de la Virgen (right side way up, next to Palacio de Bibataubín); Plaza de Bibataubín; Plaza del Campillo; Plaza de Mariana Pineda, Calle Ángel Ganivet; Puerta Real; Reyes Católicos and Plaza del Carmen.
Starts: 17:30 hours
Ends aproximately: 21:30 hours
Disabled people will have three reserved areas along the itinerary to enjoy the parade, located at:
During traffic cut in Gran Capitán, bus line SN5 will be affected.
During traffic cut in Gran Vía and Reyes Católicos, Wise Men´s Parade create public transport diversion through Camino de Ronda for bus lines LAC, SN1 and SN4, and bus lines C1 and C2 through Elvira Street.
Once parade goes through Acera del Darro bus line SN3 will be shut, and LAC, SN1 and SN4 as well.
Traffic cut in Carrera de la Virgen and Humilladero makes bus line C7 stop giving service while parade, affecting bus line S1 as well.
