TRAFFIC CUTS

Due to half marathon, from 19:15 hours and until 22:00 hours aproximately, traffic will be affected specially in those previously defined.

Mentioned streets are part of itinerary, so will be affected and will be impossible to use even for public or touristic transport, except emergency service that can not use alternative streets.

Start will be located in Poeta Manuel de Góngora and finish at the esplanade of Palacio de Congresos. Those sections; Poeta M. de Góngora, Rotary and Paseo del Violón, must be free of vehicles from 9:00h. Start area will be totally closed to traffic at 15:00h.

DIVERSION OF COLLECTIVE URBAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Development of Half Marathon affects public transport. Once the race has started, potential diversions will be coordinated according to traffic cuts made by Local Police.

BEFORE THE RACE STARTS (aproximately at 18:00 horur.)

- Bus lines 4, 8, 11, and S2 will be diverted through avenida de América when Poeta Manuel de Góngora is closed to traffic.

START OF RACE (from 19:00 hours aprox.)

DIVERSIONS SOUTH-NORTH:

-Bus line 33, once Puente Verde is open through Sancho Panza, Primavera, Fontiveros, Avd. América, Cno Ronda, Severo Ochoa and back to usual itinerary.

-Bus lines 9 and 11 through Sancho Panza, Primavera, Fontiveros, Avd. América, Cno Ronda, Severo Ochoa and back to usual itinerary.

-Bus lines 4, 8, 5 and 21 Cno Ronda, Severo Ochoa, Avda Constitución and back to usual itinerary.

DIVERSIONS NORTH-SOUTH (once Severo Ochoa is open):

- Bus lines 33, 9 and 11 through Severo Ochoa, Cno Ronda, Avd. América, Calle Palencia, and back to usual itinerary.

- Bus lines 8, 5 and 21 through Avda Constitución, Severo Ochoa, Cno Ronda and back to usual itinerary.

- Bus lines 4 through Avda de Andalucía, Avda Constitución, Severo Ochoa, Cno Ronda and back to usual itinerary.

*Diring traffic cut in Severo Ochoa these lines will give service until Triunfo.

DIVERSIONS BUS LINE NORTH ZONE

- Bus line N1, María Goyri, Avda de Andalucía, Avda Constitución and back to usual itinerary.

- Bus lines N8 and N9, no service until Ctra de Murcia is open to traffic.

DIVERSIONS BUS LINE SOUTH ZONE

- Bus line S2, head stop at Plaza Fontiveros.

- Bus line 13, temporary head stop at Plaza Pedro Duque de Galatino or Paseo de los Basilios, as the race goes.

- Bus line C5, no service from 18:30 hours.

DIVERSIONS TOURISTIC BUS LINE:

- Bus line C31, C32 and C34, no service until aperture of traffic in Carrera del Darro.

- Bus line C30, C32 and C35, lines diverted through new access to the Alhambra. Temporary bus stop at Plaza Pedro Duque de Galatino or Paseo de los Basilios, as the race goes.

INTERURBAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Those lines coming from NORTH, in their usual stops (Emilio Orozco St and Rector Marín Ocete St) will be as follows:

• Emilio Orozco St entrance through Avd. Constitución and the stop at Triunfo.
• Rector Marín Ocete St bus stop will be at Renfe and exit will be trhough Rector Marín Ocete St to Severo Ochoa St and in reverse sense towards Avd. Constitución and entrance of buses from Avd. Constitución will be closed, so they can ONLY get in through Avd. Andaluces and the exit before described.

Bus lines coming from SOUTH ZONE, in its usual stops (Paseo de los Basilios and Profesor Tierno Galván St) will be as follows:

• Paseo de los Basilios, entrance will be prohibitted from 17:00 hours until the end of the event 22:30 hours aproximatey.
• Profesor Tierno Galván St,will be prohibitted from 15:00 hours until the end of race, at 22:00 hours aproximately traffic will be restored.

In the rest of race, traffic will be closed after green flag.

2. Traffic cut in Carretera de la Sierra

SCHEDULE:

Starts on Friday 27 June 2025 at 17:00 hours until Sunday 29 June 2025 at 22:00 hours.

ITINERARIES:

START AND FINISH: Paseo de la Bomba - Carretera de la Sierra - Lancha del Genil - Cenes de la Vega and goes to Quentar where will be make a race truck in the area of La Peza and back to Granada through the same itinerary.

TRAFFIC CUTS AND PARKING RESERVATIONS

FRIDAY 27 JUNE 2025 (17:00 HOURS):

Traffic cut in Paseo de la Bomba (between Cuesta Escoriaza until roundabout San Pedro Duque de Galatino) at 17:00 hours until 21:30 hours by Local Police, the rest of traffic cuts will be managed by race organization with the installation of fences and posters and security officers, ALLOWING EVERY TIME ENTRANCE AND EXIT OF RESIDENTS IN THIS AREA DUE TO AVAILABILITY IN THE START/FINISH LINE, ROAD WILL BE OPEN TO TRAFFIC AFTER THE COMPETITION.

SATURDAY 28 JUNE 2025 (07:30 HOURS TO 21:30 HOURS):

Traffic cut in Paseo de la Bomba (IN CASE THAT ORGANIZATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE ALLOW THE CIRCULATION OF VEHICLES), and traffic cut in the itinerary in the city to clear the way from vehicles.

Traffic cut in Paseo de los Basilios (from Puente Blanco to Puente Verde), vehicles of teams will be ONLY on the lane next to the river and the sidewalk to settle the stands of teams, and the lane next to School Sagrado Corazón, will be free access for vehicles of the teams and residents. Roundabout San Pedro Duque de Galatino (area next to albero and children´s playground) and lane of pedestrian area in Paseo de la Bomba, reservation of parking area for Guardia Civil vehicles.

Paseo de la Bomba (pedestrian area until roundabout Las Titas), At roundabout Las Titas the chains will be removeds for the entrance and exit of judges vehicles because they have to get in and out due to differernt competitions.

Public transport

The development of Half Marathon affects public transport. Expected diversions will be according to Local Police guidelines.
- Bus lines 4, 8, 11 and S2 will be diverted throuhg avenida de América once Poeta Manuel de Góngora is closed to traffic.
- Will be diverted through Camino de Ronda once Reyes Católicos St is closed to traffic, affecting bus lines 4, 8, 11, 21 and 33.
- When the marathon goes through Albaicín, will affect bus lines C31, C32 and C34, and also C30, C32 and C35 when going through Realejo.

9. Holy Week 2025

From 13 to 20 April 2025 takes place the celebration of Holy Week in Granada.

SCHEDULE OF REGULAR TRAFFIC CUTS:

From Sunday 13 until Saturday 19 April, at 16:00 hours and until the end of the day (according to guidelines of Local Police).

On Sunday 20 April at 10:00 hours and until 15:00 hours (there can be carried out punctual traffic cuts subsequently to remove wax from the streets, after Local Police guidelines).

On the following map we can see the area that usually is closed to traffic due to the itineraries of parades, diversions of public transport will be through Camino de Ronda and Carrera Oficial.

Traffic cuts in Recorrido Oficial

About 16:00 hours all accesses and itineraries going through Gran Vía de Colón, Reyes Católicos, Acera del Darro, Recogidas and area of Plaza de Mariana Pineda and surrounding streets, will be closed to traffic due to parades, through Carrera Oficial, this is:
Carrera de la Virgen (central way), plaza del Campillo, plaza Mariana Pineda, Ángel Ganivet, Puerta Real de España, Mesones, Marqués de Gerona, plaza de las Pasiegas, S.I. Cathedral.

Special attention is given to traffic in the perimeter of: Cruz de Lagos, Palacio de Congresos, Poeta Manuel de Góngora and Puente Verde, to create diversions of traffic if necessary.

This plan expects hot spots of traffic in big streets of the city, as Avenida de Juan Pablo II, roundabouts in Rotary, Circunvalación, Arabial - Méndez Núñez or the surroundings of Acera del Darro, Humilladero and Villarejo, among others.

Wax on the streets

Due to parades, during all week there Will be wax on the streets, a very dangerous issue mostly for two wheeled vehicles. Usually, traffic restrictions in San Matías and Varela streets will be carried out for motorbikes and mopeds during Holy Week.

At the end of Holy Week, there will be traffic cuts in Ángel Ganivet, Acera del Darro, etc. to remove wax from the streets. This action is usually carried out on the following Monday to Holy Week.

10. Goya Ceremony Awards

Information about traffic cuts and public transport diversions on February 8 2025.

CORTE DE TRÁFICO

A partir de las 14:00 horas del día 8 de Febrero se procederá al corte de las calles que se relacionan a continuación y que dan acceso a la zona del Palacio de Congresos, de modo que se puedan desarrollar las labores de montaje con total libertad de movimientos para el personal encargado de producción.

• Av. Fernando de los Ríos.- Se impedirá el acceso al paso subterráneo sentido centro ciudad.
• Rotonda de Aviación.- Corte del acceso de vehículos no autorizados hacia Paseo del Violón.
• Puente Blanco.- Se impedirá el acceso hacia Paseo del Violón, desviándose todo el tráfico procedente de Acera del Darro hacia Paseo de los Basilios.
  Igualmente el procedente de Poeta Manuel de Góngora podrá desviarse hacia Paseo de los Basilios o continuar recto hacia Acera del Darro.
• San Antón.- El tráfico procedente de San Antón, será desviado hacia la calle Agustina de Aragón, y por Ricardo del Arco hacia Ribera del Genil, con salida hacia Camino de Ronda.
  Igualmente se desviarán a los vehículos que procedan de Callejón de Arenas y Placeta del Matadero hacia Ribera del Genil.
• Ángel Ganivet.- Desde las 14:00 h (previsiblemente), se procederá al corte de la calle debido a la aglomeración de público en la puerta del hotel Meliá. El tráfico procedente de Acera del Casino se desviará hacia Reyes Católicos o Recogidas.

TRANSPORTE PÚBLICO URBANO

Todas las líneas de autobuses y taxis serán desviadas de su itinerario habitual por Paseo de los Basilios en su recorrido hacia la zona sur, y por Av. Pablo Picasso cuando lo realicen en sentido norte.
