1. VIII SOLIDARITY RACE ASPACE

It takes place on October 1st 2023, between 8:00 and 15:00 hours, starting and ending at Mercedes Gaibrois St.

Itinerary:
Mercedes Gaibrois 39 - Camino Bajo de Huétor - C/ Profesor Albareda - Puente Verde - Roundabout Pedro Duque de Galatino (inner side) - Paseo de la Bomba (traffic zone) - Paseo del Salón (traffic zone) - Carrera de la Virgen (reverse sense) - Plaza del Campillo Bajo - Plaza Mariana Pineda - C/ Ángel Ganivet (reverse sense) - Puerta Real - C/ Acera del Darro (reverse sense to traffic) - Puente Blanco (reverse sense to traffic, BUS LANE) - Poeta Manuel de Góngora (only bus lane) - Bruselas - Avda. De Ámerica - Roundabout del Paseo de Europa - C/ Profesor Garzón Pareja - Camino de los Abencerrajes - El Partal - Torre Quebrada - Torres de los Picos - Mercedes Gaibrois 39.

Public transport:
- bus lines 9, 13 and 33 might be affected when race is going through Paseo de la Bomba
- bus lines 4, 8, 11, 21 and S2 might be affected on the performance of the race in Poeta Manuel de Góngora and Acera del Darro.

2. Solidarity floral offering 2023 Virgen de las Angustias

Due to the Floral Offering, on September 15 takes place traffic cuts in Carrera de la Virgen and Acera del Darro.

From 16:00 hours takes place traffic cuts in Carrera de la Virgen and Acera del Darro.

It is prohibitted to park in Carrera de la Virgen and Acera del Darro (between Humilladero and Puente Castañeda) from 12:00 hours.

3. XXXVIII ASCEND OF VELETA

On August 6 at 7:00 hours takes place the XXXVIII Ascend to Veleta.

This event goes through the following streets: Paseo del Salón (area excluded to traffic in Templete de Musica) - roundabout Duque San Pedro de Galatino (turn left in the inner area of the roundabout) - Paseo de la Bomba - Paseo del Salón (turn to exluded area to traffic through pedestrian crossing in Fuente de las Granadas - Paseo del Salón - Paseo de la Bomba - Carretera de la Sierra - Lancha del Genil - EXIT FROM MUNICIPAL AREA to Pico del Veleta.

Due to the realization of this event, there might be affected urban bus lines S0, 9, 13 and 33.

5. Medula Sky Challenge

This sport race takes place on July 1 2023 between 18:00 and 19:00 hours.

This race will be performed on the right lane in sense of direction. Itinerary will be: Camino Real de los Neveros, plaza de los Neveros, avenida de Cervantes, Puente Verde, paseo del Salón, Acera del Darro, Puerta Real, Reyes Católicos, plaza Isabel la Católica, Gran Vía, Triunfo, avenida de la Constitución, avenida de Andalucía (to Mercagranada)

Due to the performance of this race, there might be public transport detour, and may affect urban bus lines 4, 8, 9, 11, 13, 21, 33, N1, N5, N6, N8 and N9.

6. I RACE AND ROUTE FOR WOMEN + AGAINST CANCER

Next Sunday June 18 between 7:00 and 14:30 hours celebrates the I Race and Route for Women + Against Cancer.

The itinerary is: Roundabout PALACIO DE CONGRESOS (Rotary) - Paseo del Violón – Puente del Río Genil – C/ Acera del Darro – Puerta Real - C/ Ángel Ganivet – Plaza Mariana Pineda – Plaza del Campillo - Carrera de la Virgen (lane sense of traffic) – Plaza del Humilladero – Paseo del Salón (araa excluded to traffic, lane next to municipal library) Paseo de la Bomba (area excluded to traffic) – Puente Verde – Paseo Fuente de la Bicha – Placeta de la Atalaya – Borreguiles – Guarnón – Avd. de Cervantes – Puente Verde – Paseo de los Basilios – Paseo del Violón – esplanade of PALACIO DE CONGRESOS.

During the celebration of this event there can be alterations on itineraries and schedules of urban buses and other public transport services, according to guidelines of Local Police.

7. Demonstrations 1St. May

On May 1St 2023 takes place two demonstrations: From Triunfo to Plaza Isabel la Católica and from Plaza del Carmen to Plaza de la Hípica, both from 11:30 to 14:00 hours.

Itineraries of these demonstrations are:

• Starting from Jardines del Triunfo, following through Gran Vía de Colón and ending at plaza Isabel la Católica.
• Starting from Plaza del Carmen, following through Reyes Católicos, Puerta Real, Acera del Casino, Acera del Darro, Poeta Manuel de Góngora, Andrés Segovia and ending at plaza Fontiveros - plaza de la Hípica.

Demonstrations may create public transport detour through Camino de Ronda.

8. XXXIX HALF MARATHON CITY OF GRANADA 2023

The XXXIX HALF MARATHON CITY OF GRANADA 2023 takes place on May 6 2023 at 19:30 hours for aproximately two hours and a half (22:15 hours). Check the itinerary.

Ultra Sierra Nevada Race 2023 takes place on April 14 at 22:00 hours starting at Plaza del Humilladero.

This race takes place on April 14 2023 starting at Plaza del Humilladero at 22:00 hours following through: Plaza del Humilladero, Paseo del Salón, Paseo de la Bomba, Cuesta Molinos, Cuesta Escoriaza, Cuesta del Caidero, Antequeruela Baja, Paseo de los Mártires, Paseo de la Sabica, roundabout of municipal cemetery towards Llano de la Perdiz, and throughout the mountains.

10. Partial traffic cut in Carretera de la Sierra

Partial traffic cuts in Carretera de la Sierra, section between Paseo de la Bomba and Santa María de la Alhambra roundabout, between 20 and 31 March 2023.

Due date for partial traffic cut in Ctra. de la Sierra in several points to fix pavement and electricity manholes to PT 43.2 of PGOU, diverting traffic to one side of the street, on working days between 20/03/23 and 31/03/23, just what absolutely necessary.

There must be one lane open to traffic regulated by operators. There must be free access to public transport as well.
