1. Traffic cuts in Traumatogía Hospital roundabout

Traffic cut in the roundabout of Juan Pablo II Avenue and Ribera del Beiro, from July to August 31 2023.

Due date for the authorization of traffic cuts in the roundabout of Hospital de Traumatología in the junction of streets Juan Pablo II and Ribera del Beiro will be from 17/07/23 to 31/08/23 closing date, according to:

Phase 1: Section of 20 meters between the already excavated trench in the central zone of the roundabout and the beginnig of the street Ribera del Beiro (towards Mondragones) with partial traffic cut from Monday 17/07/23, keeping opened to traffic at any moment, at least, one lane wide enough to allow turning movements in the roundabout.

Phase 2: Section of 10 meters between central zone and the corner of Hospital de Traumatología.- total traffic cut of a quarter of the roundabout, rearranging the roundabout so main direction will be Avda. Juan Pablo II (movements to the front and right and prohibiting turns to the right and left, and another manin direction for the exit of vehicles in each section of Ribera del Beiro St.

3. Medula Sky Challenge

This sport race takes place on July 1 2023 between 18:00 and 19:00 hours.

This race will be performed on the right lane in sense of direction. Itinerary will be: Camino Real de los Neveros, plaza de los Neveros, avenida de Cervantes, Puente Verde, paseo del Salón, Acera del Darro, Puerta Real, Reyes Católicos, plaza Isabel la Católica, Gran Vía, Triunfo, avenida de la Constitución, avenida de Andalucía (to Mercagranada)

Due to the performance of this race, there might be public transport detour, and may affect urban bus lines 4, 8, 9, 11, 13, 21, 33, N1, N5, N6, N8 and N9.

4. Total trafficc cut in Rector López Argüeta

Traffic cut extends to October 30 2023. Due to rehab works in the street, there is traffic cut in Rector López Argüeta St. and sense of circulation is inverted in Gran Capitán St., from July 19 2023

UPDATE

Due date for TOTAL TRAFFIC CUT in Rector López Argüeta St. extends to 31/10/23.

Delay was due to installation of gas and sanitation canalizations not covered in the project that means a delay in reopening traffic.

Before closing traffic in Rector López Argüeta St. there must be prepared (to be installed directly before closure) vertical and horizontal signalling and traffic lights as well to indicate traffic diversion to get to San Juan de Dios and San Jerónimo streets through Gran Capitán St.

Due date for TOTAL TRAFFIC CUT in Rector López Argüeta St. will be three months from.

Sense of circulation is reverted in Gran Capitán St.

Rearrangement of traffic

Update: From Friday July 7, it is allowed to turn left from Fuente Nueva to Plaza Albert Einstein for residents in the surroundings of Rector López Argüeta St.

Public transport

Bus lines N5 and 25 will change their itinerary due to works:

• Bus line 25, in avenida Fuente Nueva, turns right through Melchor Almagro, return to usual itinerary at Emperatriz Eugenia.
  So, service will be suspended in bus stops (407) Avda. de Fuente Nueva 5 and (411) San Juan de Dios 7.
• Bus line N5 does not get through Severo Ochoa, will follow through Avenida de la Constitución to roundabout in Triunfo and return to usual itinerary.
  Bus service will be suspended in bus stops: Severo Ochoa - Fuente Nueva, Severo Ochoa - Comedores Universitarios, Severo Ochoa - Rector López Argüeta, San Juan de Dios 12 and San Juan de Dios 36. Now bus stop at Avda. Constitución 7 is on service.

Parking

Access to San Juan de Dios public parking will be through Gran Capitán St. while works awoll it.

6. XVII Popular Race Padre Marcelino

The XVII XVII Popular Race Padre Marcelino takes place on Sunday April 23 2023 from 9:00 hours in the morning.

There will be several traffic cuts due to race. Recoletos St. will be shut to traffic from 9:00 hours of April 22 until 15:00 hours of April 23, to install all facilities for the celebration of this race. Sections of Recoletos streets affected will be, between Christian Andersen and Santo Tomás de Villanueva streets and Santo Tomás de Villanueva and María Guerrero. Also, from 7:00 hours to 15:00 hours, of April 23, traffic cut will be in Arabial Street, from Méndez Núñez Street to Cañaveral due to installation of facilities.

9. Traffic cut in bus stops in Caleta and Triunfo

Due to pavement repair works in bus stops of Padre Suárez, Triunfo, Juzgados and Plaza la Caleta, there will be traffic cuts from March 27 to 30. Check up the following plan.
