New Route Planner of Public Transport in Granada

The City Council of Granada has uploaded to Mobility webpage and Transportes Rober a platform to arrange customized bus routes. It allows users to make their own journeys and know expected time, lines, transfers to be made and stops.

 

Mobility area of the City Council of Granda, run by Telesfora Ruis,has uploaded a platform that awolls grenadians to plan urban bus routes. You can find this planner at www.movilidadgranada.com or www.transportesrober.com.

This platform customize routes and allows users to know expected time from the origin to the end, bus lines, transfer to be made and stops. This program calculates the most accurated route due to its origin and ending point; shows closer stops, lines to take, tranfers to do if needed, outbound timetable and average trip expectancy, including displacements on foot, calculated in 3km/h.

The functioning of this online program is intuitive.User has two options to detail his journey: write down origin and destination of his journey or clicking on the map both points, origin and destination. A text and a graphic will show the route of his displacement. Origin and destination are selected giving the name of the streets of clicking on the map. When this data is uploaded, click on planificar el viajebutton and the application shows the route on a map.

This system offers additional info: date and schedule of each bus line on labour days, bank holidaay and weekends. The platform aslo gives other values as shorter trips and pedestrian routes, on bike and by car.

This software, now available, will be updated continously thanks to the systems used to create it. Soon it could be checked through Google Maps, Here.com and mobile app Moovit.
