Closure of the activities course 2015/2016 in the Center of Education in Road Safety
On 20 June has been celebrated the closure of the activities in Road Safety, headed by Major Francisco Cuenca, Provincial Traffic Chief José Vico, Provincial Delegate for Education Germán González and Delegate for Mobility Raquel Ruz
This present course has involved the participation of 10.436 students distributed in: Theoretical - Practical courses for Primary, Secondary, High School, Proffesional Training, NEE, Round Tables, School Regulators, Cyclist Conferences, Motorbike Conferences, Intergenerational Workshops of Young People and Elderly, Contests, Campaigns...
At the Ceremony were awarded:
- Diploma to Traffic School Regulators of schools: Arrayanes, Ntra.Sra. del Rosario and Santa Marta, with 46 participants.
- Prizes for the winners of the Drawing Contest: Érase una vez un bus... whose slogan in its XXII edition was: Por tus desplazamientos activos, joined by 50 schools with a total of 1.023 drawings.
- Diploma of Gratitude to Mutua Motera to contribute training of young motorcycle riders in this annual organized conferences.
- Diploma of Gratitude to Granada al Pedal to contribute training and spreading the use of bicyle as mean of transport in Granada.
- Diploma of Gratitude to the Cyclist Unit of Local Police for cooperating in safety in the Cyclist Conferences organized by the CEV.
- Elderly who learn about Road Safety in workshops specially teached for them with the cooperation of the Red Cross.
The Hall had a massive audience of all ages, that enjoyed at the end of the act with a large photographic report with the Major and authorities attending with the bus decorated with their paintings parked in Plaza del Carmen .
Finally the audience proceed to visit the Exhibition with pop corn bags.
This exhibition with all drawings of the contest can be visited in the courtyard of the City Hall in Plaza del Carmen until 22 June 2016.
