Royal Law- Decreee 20/2022, 27 December, to answer economic and social measures of war in Ukraine and to support reconstruction of island of La Palma and other vulnerable situations (BOE n.º 311, of 28-12-22) stablishes in article 43 a system of direct aid, of the first semester of 2023, giving financial support to those autonomous regions and local entities that provide urban or interurban collective transport service.
Article 44 says that "beneficiaries will be autonomous communities and local entities that provide urban or interurban collective transport implemented from January 1 2023, until June 30 2023, a bonification in card price and multitravel card, excluiding return tickets, terrestrial transport of their responsibility, at least 50% discount on current fares...
Autonomous communities and local entities must finance, with charge to their own budgets, at least a 20% discount on transport cards, multitravel card, excluiding return tickets.
Article 46 also says that 1. Potential beneficiaries referred on article 44 will submit before January 31 2023 an application through the website of Ministry of Transport and Mobility, filling an electronic form where, necessarily, should be included a bank account to credit the discount.
This application should include, at any case, the commitment of implementation from January 1St to June 30Th 2023 with a reduction in ticket fare and multitravel cards, at least, a 50% discount due to article 44, and finance with charge to their own budgets the amount of money needed to compensate entities and transport companies as written on article 48.
Potential receivers referred on article 44 should submit before 31 January 2023 an application through the web of Ministry of Transport and Mobility, filling an electronic form where, necessarily, should be included a bank account to credit the discount.
Also, and according to article 47 the Mayor of Granada should finance with charge to their own budgets the amount of money needed, once the discount is applied, to meet the cost of these benefits stablished on article 46 and 48.
Municipal contribution
The Mayor of Granada will finance this 20% discount with their own budget. The Ministry of Transport and Moblity will finance a 30% discount, making a 50% discount altogether in multitravel card.
Implementation period and discounts:
Implementation period will be from January 1 and June 30 2023 , and being applied on current fare. This discount will be valid on cards and multitravel card but return ticket.
Revision appeal to these fares is not available due to Decree 365/2009, 3 November, of regulatory administrative procedures of authorized prices in Andalusia, so this is not a fare modification in collective urban transport but a discount on multitravel card, from January 1 2023, until June 30 2023, to reduce fares.
